Why Wear a Mask?
The coronavirus is extremely infectious - the probability of someone with Covid 19 transmitting it to a healthy contact is 90%.
If the healthy contact wears a mask, then the transmission probability reduces to 70%.
If the Covid 19 carrier wears a mask the transmission probability is down to 5%.
And if both the Covid 19 carrier and the healthy contact wear as mask, the transmission probability is only 1.5%.
